Scouting Report: Manuel White Jr.

NFL franchises are always looking for versatile players from the college ranks, those that can handle several duties in the course of a game. UCLA ball carrier turned fullback Manuel White Jr. may just be one of those prospects.

Name:  Manuel White Jr.    School:  UCLA

Ht:  6-2  Wt: 252     40: 4.65

The Good: Collegiate ball carrier who projects to fullback at the next level.  Good athlete with excellent size\speed numbers, balance and vision.  Strong at the point, breaks tackles as a ball carrier and falls forward, picking up the extra yards.  Displays good hands as a receiver out of the backfield.  Solid blocker that removes defenders from the action and takes out opponents on the second level.

The Bad: Must become more explosive and work harder to finish blocks.  Seemingly prefers handling the ball rather then blocking for the ball carrier.

The Skinny: Physically gifted, White has the potential to be a triple threat to fullback at the next level if he decides to complete his game.  Must become more aggressive as a blocker yet could be the first fullback off the board next April.
