Fast off the corner on the blitz, displays speed to the flanks and possesses excellent range. Moves well laterally and also gets depth on pass drops. Fluid changing direction and immediately alters his angle of attack or redirects to the ball carrier. Plays with excellent balance and rarely off his feet. Effectively uses his hands to stay off blocks and wraps up tackling.
The Bad: Not quick in his head, lacks top instincts and at times slow locating the ball. Not decisive and does more chasing then actual covering in pass defense. Has a history of knee injuries.
The Skinny: An outstanding athlete that displays flashes of brilliance while also showing steady progress on the football field, Burnett offers a lot of upside potential for the next level. Can quickly start on either the weak side or strong side but must stay healthy and have his mental abilities catch up to the standout physical skills he possesses.
