Scouting the GMAC Bowl

A rare consecutive bowl appearance for both schools who are turning into competitive programs. Plenty of early round talent from both teams, specifically on the offensive side of the ball. Underclassmen from both teams are the headlining NFL-prospects.

Bowling Green

Omar Jacobs/QB/3So/4: Sensational young passer that could well be a very early draft pick in the near future.

Jelani Jordan/CB/4Jr/27: Solid cover corner with good man-to-man skills.

Cole Magner/WR/4Sr/21: Reliable wide out with a chance to make it as a fifth receiver at the next level.

Scott Mruczkowski/C/5Sr/79: Big, strong position blocker best in a small area.

Keon Newson/S/4Sr/17: Hard-hitting safety well-suited for a zone system or up near the box.

Steve Sanders/WR/4Jr/12: Productive wide out coming off a breakout season.

Robert Douglas/FB/5Sr/34: Underrated fullback that's paved the way for record breaking ball carrier the De Angelo Williams the past two seasons.

Tavares Gideon/WR/5Sr/21: Tall, possession receiver struggling to rebound from a knee injury.

Albert Means/DT/5Sr/77: Headlining high school recruit that displays flashes of dominance in the middle of the line.

DeAngelo Williams/RB/3Jr/20: Feature runner with solid size\speed numbers along with top running back vision and instincts.  Leaning towards entering the draft and a likely top 45 selection in April.

Danny Wimprine/QB/5Sr/18: Solid collegiate passer who controls the situation and leads the offense well.  Lacks the big arm but very accurate and a solid backup at the next level.
