Scouting the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl

In a game which should provide lots of scoring and take more than 4 hours to complete, the is plenty of NFL talent coming out of this game. Two draftable quarterbacks, a few outstanding guards as well as a very underrated receiver and cornerback highlight the pro-prospects.

Timmy Chang/QB/5Sr/14: Undersized yet accurate quarterback that benefits from Hawaai's passing system.  Not a signal caller for everyone yet a prospect with upside for the next level.

Abraham Elimimian/CB/5Sr/37: Competitive cornerback with nice size as well as skill.  Possesses the intangibles and abilities to make a big move up draft boards starting in January.  Received an invite to the combine.

Uriah Moenoa/5Sr/69:  Massive blocker that is both quick and athletic.  Very large and must lose weight as well as improve his run blocking skills.

Chad Owen/WR/5Sr/2: Small yet reliable receiver who also impacts the game as a return specialist.

Samson Satele/G/3So/64: Exceptional athlete that can be used as a "move guard".  Terrific potential for the next level and one to watch the next two years.

Nigel Eldridge/ILB/5Sr/59: Hard hitting, run defending linebacker best up the field.  Two down defender who must make it on special teams.

Darrell Hackney/QB/4Jr/4: Nice sized passer with a big arm.  Continually gets better and an underclassman on the way up.

Thurman Pearson/S/5Sr/8: Super productive safety best defending the run.  Coming off a knee injury and has just marginal skills in pass coverage.

Sharod White/WR/5Sr/10: Well sized receiver capable of making the big play.  Needs to refine his overall game yet has shown continual improvement on the field. Expect a lot of post-season invitations and a move up draft boards.

Zac Woodfin/OLB/4Sr/58:Hard working defender best in pursuit.
