Scouting the Emerald Bowl for NFL talent

Good match-up between a pair of competitive teams. The Lobos offer several solid middle round draft choices and players on the rise.

Kyle Eckel/FB/32/4Sr: Hard working lead fullback that can also carry the ball.  Gives effort in all aspects of the game. Possesses just marginal size\speed numbers for the next level and also has the military commitment.

New Mexico

D.D. Cox/RB/5/5Sr: Straight line back with nice size.  Change of pace runner that can be used in short yardage situations.

DonTrell Moore/RB/22/4Jr: Undersized yet elusive runner that's been awfully productive on the college level.  Possesses a lot of skill for the next level and offers a decent upside.

Brandon Payne/CB/28: Former junior college transfer who stepped up his game as a senior and now is now receiving late round consideration.

Nick Speegle/OLB/89/5Sr: Big, tall linebacker whose game really improved as a senior.  May be best over tight ends in a 34 defense yet will also get looks in a conventional scheme based on his play this year.

Claude Terrell/T/76/5Sr: Collegiate left tackle who projects to guard at the next level.  Athletic, strong and technically sound.  Possesses good upside and skill for the next level and a prospect that can have a long NFL career.
