Draft on the move

As first reported here from the Senior Bowl on January 23rd, the NFL has officially decided to move the NFL Draft out of Madison Square Garden's Paramount Theater as it's ongoing conflict with the Dolan family is reaching a boiling point.

The Dolan's, who own the Garden along with its' tenants, the Knicks and Rangers, have been the biggest opponents of a new stadium the New York Jets and the NFL are hoping to build on the west side of Manhattan. Most recently the Dolan's proposed a $600 million housing project on the land where the stadium is to be built, presently owned by New York's MTA.

The Jacob Javits Center, adjacent to the site on which the Jets hope to build there stadium, presently sits as the front-runner to hold the event.
