Today Scout.com announced that it was releasing its new NFL Free Agency Tracker to masses of NFL fans who follow the NFL year round. The NFL Free Agency Tracker will allow fans to follow the free agency process from the time a player
becomes a free agent through signing with their new team. In addition, the Tracker will give fans an opportunity to see how the Scout.com NFL Scouting Experts rank the free agents, both by position, and in the overall field. Additionally, fans will be able to track the free agent by current team, new team, college or position.
"This is a huge development for our NFL network and NFL fans worldwide," says Stephan Miller, Scout.com's Director of Network Operations and the driving force behind the pro side of the Scout.com network. "The Free Agency Tracker is the first of its kind, and will give Scout.com and NFL fans the best possible way to track free agency developments. Here is how it works: When a player becomes a free agent, he is added to the tracker. The player is then ranked by our experts, and followed closely through the free agency process, all the way through signing with a new team."
Lane Adkins, Scout.com NFL expert, says "I am extremely glad to see this type of focus being placed on the NFL Network. As a network, it is up to us to deliver what the fans want. With the Free Agency Tracker, we have given fans what they have been asking for and a new feature that our NFL publishers will love. There is nobody in the market that has or utilizes a tool such as this."
Similar to the NFL Draft Database, once a fan clicks on a player name, they will be taken to the player's profile page, which archives all content about that player ever published on the Scout.com Network. In addition, clicking on the "Add Player to My HotList" link will notify fans via e-mail whenever there is new content published about that player.
"We are very pleased to deliver this superior feature to our users. We share their passion for great content. This Tracker is yet another tool for accessing our end-to-end player coverage," remarked Scout.com Product Manager Keith Haynes.
"I have never been more excited about a feature in my entire internet career as I am with this Free Agency Tracker. So many people on our team put so much heart and soul into this project, and they all need to know just how much they truly are appreciated!" said Miller.
"For those fans who follow their favorite team, or the free agency process in general, they now have the best tool in the business at their disposal to track free agents. This is a huge development."
Fans can find the Free Agency Tracker by visiting any of the 32 NFL team sites on the Scout.com network.
