Pro Day 3-17 - Updated 4:09 ET

Live from both UAB and UCLA. Scouts from all but six NFL teams have converged to Birmingham to watch Roddy White finally workout in front of pro personnel people. We will have updates throughout the day.

All but five AFC teams and the Dallas Cowboys have sent representatives to the UAB Blazer pro day.  The Saints and Falcons have sent huge contingencies while Pittsburgh sent offensive coordinator Ken Wisenhut south to get a first-hand look.

White has looked good in the morning when he measured in at 6013/204, then turned in a 41-inch vertical jump and 10-6 broad jump.

The weather in Birmingham is not good and the forties will be run at an indoor facility away from campus.

Roddy White

In pass catching workouts White looked unspectacular and dropped more than a few passes which should of been caught. Redskins, have told Whites agent if is he is available in rd 2 they will take a hard look. Saints and Rams, are showing great interest in White as well.

WR Ephraim Hill ran solid low 4.5 and looked good n pass catching drills. Practice QB was former Alabama passer Andrew Zow,  who garnered lots of interest by scouts at hand.

Ran his first 40 in a time of 4.47 then clocked a 4.40 on his second turn.

Out at UCLA, none of the big names chose to work out and are waiting for next week to perform at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

While some did take part in the position drills, there was nothing of note except cornerback Matt Clark posted a 4.63 in the 40-yard dash.
