Prospect Profile: Ansel Rosegreen

Junior Rosegreen School: Auburn
Ht: 5-11 Wt: 190 40: 4.55 Year: 5Sr

Bio: Three-year starter and an All-Conference safety as a senior after posting 57/6/3. Junior totals included 52/1/6.

Positives: Undersized runsupporting safety best in zone coverage. Fierce moving up the field, takes good angles to the action and wraps up tackling. Effective when the play is in front of him and does a fine job in zone coverage. Picks up assignments and does well making the calls in the secondary. Possesses a burst of closing speed and plays with a degree of suddenness.

Negatives: Marginal skills in man-toman coverage. Does not display top sidelineto- sideline range.

Analysis: Another Auburn Tiger who stepped up to the plate as a senior, Rosegreen finished off a terrific 2004 campaign with an excellent showing in the Senior Bowl. Well suited as a zone-cover safety who will be effective when his area responsibilities are kept to a minimum. Will not "wow" anyone with his size/speed numbers, yet the light has seemingly come on and the arrow is pointing up.
