Prospect Profile: Chris Myers

Chris Myers School: Miami-Fl
Ht: 6-4.5 Wt: 300 40: 5.21 Year: 5Sr

Bio: Three-year starter who's been used at guard, center, and right tackle. Also longsnapped at the Senior Bowl. Second team All- Conference choice as a junior.

Positives: Versatile and durable blocker for the next level. Smart, quickly picks up assignments and helps out teammates. Immediately sets in pass protection, displays good hand placement and strong in the upper body. Turns opponents off the line and a good position blocker who seals running lanes. Nasty, and looks for someone to hit. Quick out to the second level and jolts opponents at the point.

Negatives: Lacks footwork and range in space. Marginal skills in motion. More of a mauler then leverage blocker.

Analysis: A consistent lineman on the college level, Myers lacks the top athleticism for the next level. And though he can only play in certain systems, the ability to be used at several spots up front and potentially as a long snapper could make him a valuable utility lineman in the NFL.
