Almost a dozen teams showed up in Warren, Ohio today as Maurice Clarett tried to improve on some pretty poor times from last month's NFL combine.  Interest was higher than originally expected and Clarett is now finishing up his workout.

The new training regiment Clarett started after the combine seemed to work.  The consensus amongst scouts was Clarett's 40 times were in the 4.67/4.68 range after the big back weighed in at 236 pounds.  His short shuttle time was 4.30 seconds, long shuttle 12.01 and 3-cone 7.50.

After the testing, Clarett looked solid during the running drills and sharp catching the ball, holding onto just about every pass fired into him by the Cincinnati Bengal coaches.

Contrary to false rumors on the internet -- close to 10 teams showed up at the workout today, including the Bengals, Browns, Steelers, Rams, Colts, Patriots, Dolphins and Ravens.

Individual workouts with franchises are now being set up and we will update the information as it comes in.

In other news, we have learned that Richie Incognito will be working out next Wednesday, April 6, at the Athletes Performance facility in Tempe, Ariz.

And in a bit of a shocker, cornerback Brandon Browner has decided against running one more time for scouts.  After turning in a pair of disappointing 40s at the combine, Browner could not improve last week in Carson, Calif., during a torrential downpour at the Home Depot Center.
