Ht: 6-6 Wt: 260 40: 4.82 Year: 5Sr
Bio: Became a full-time starter as a senior and
posted 23/332/2 after 24/222/2 the prior year.
Positives: Pass-catching tight end with reliable hands.
Gets off jams releasing into pass routes, displays
good focus and runs relatively well. Extends to
make the tough catch in traffic and consistently
plucks the ball away from his frame. Bends his
knees, blocks with leverage and seals defenders
from the action with good body positioning.
Not quick off the snap, strong at the point and
does not finish as a blocker. Cannot go over
the middle, take a big hit, and hold onto the ball.
Rarely makes plays in the secondary.
A prospect who's shown great improvement the
past two seasons, Fleming has potential as a
second tight end at the next level, yet must
significantly improve his playing strength to have
any shot of sticking on a roster.
