possession receiver who consistently
finds the open spot in the defense. Defeats jams
getting off the line of scrimmage, sells routes and
looks the ball into his hands. Displays excellent
focus, concentration and makes the difficult grab
in a crowd. Adjusts to the errant throw then pulls
the ball out of the air. Easily makes the reception
in stride and always working to make himself an
available target. Effective blocking downfield.
Negatives: Lacks foot speed and does not beat
opponents down the field or stretch the defense.
Marginal abilities running after the reception.
Analysis: A hard-working receiver who does the
dirty work, Peebler has the size and consistency
that entice coaches. A strong showing in camp
could guarantee him a roster spot as a team's
fifth receiver next season.
