Prospect Profile: Justin Green

Justin Green School: Montana
Ht: 5-11.5 Wt: 251 40: 4.95 Year: 4Sr

Bio: Junior college transfer and All-Conference award winner in the past years. Finished his senior season with 160/368/8 on the ground, adding nine receptions. Posted a career best 252/1,146/14 the prior season. Primarily a tailback in college.

Positives: Strong, interior runner who displays good power carrying the ball. Aggressive, puts his shoulders into opponents and drives forward picking up yardage off initial contact. Also patient and waits for blocks to develop. Adequate receiver out of the backfield who looks the pass into his hands. Used at fullback more as a senior and displayed quickness out of his stance as well as enough speed to create room for the ball carrier. Gives effort blocking and jolts opponents at the point of attack.

Negatives: Not elusive carrying the ball. Lacks the speed and skill to get outside around tackle. Must improve his blocking vision and technique. Does more chop blocking rather than squaring into defenders.

Analysis: A nice-sized offensive it to the outside avoiding piles. Solid receiver out of the backfield who adjusts well to the errant throw.

Negatives: Marginal strength and rarely picks up yardage off initial contact. More quick than fast.

Analysis: An undersized yet very tough ball carrier, Scott turned himself into a legitimate third-down prospect after a terrific senior campaign.
