SCOUTING REPORT- Levron Williams

Levron Williams     Indiana        6-3/225/4.65             5Sr

STATS & BIO: Three-year starter that was an All-Conference selection last year. Led the Big 10 in rushing posting numbers of 212/1,401/6.6/17, and led the team in receiving registering 26/289/11.1/2. Ran for 116/821/7.1/10 as a junior and caught 20/116/5.8/0. Again, team's rushing leader as a sophomore when he totaled 817 yards, also catching 33 passes. Originally started his college career at wide receiver and may ultimately project to that position at the next level.

THE GOOD:  Patient, intelligent runner effective catching the ball. Sees the field, follows blocks and finds the open spot in the defense. Aggressive, puts his shoulders down and drives forwards, picking up the extra yardage. Displays strong hands making the catch with the ability to adjust to the errant throw. Also gives effort blocking in pass protection.

THE BAD: Lacks overall quickness and elusiveness when the ball is in his hands, shows minimal speed and best between the tackles.  Has an upright running style, which leads to a lot of crushing hits.

THE SKINNY: Could be a solid possession-type receiver if he learns to run routes. Free Agent.
