SCOUTING REPORT

Bob Pesavento      Colorado     6-3.5/218/4.72     5Sr

STATS & BIO: Former junior college transfer that came to Colorado by way of Miami-Ohio University.  Finished his senior season throwing 61.2%/1,234/8/4 after being moved in and out of the starting line-up the past two seasons.

THE GOOD:  Nice sized, mobile signal caller that needs to severely improve his quarterbacking fundamentals.  Sets up with solid footwork displaying good ball placement, gets air under his deep throws giving receivers a chance and shows zip on his intermediate range passes.  Elusive, makes plays on the move and gets outside the pocket to avoid the rush.

THE BAD:  Not quick releasing off a three step drop nor does he throw with an over the top delivery and directs his passes too much.  Does not see the field, holds the ball a bit long and forces the pass into coverage.  Lacks a true feel for the position and shows minimal skills as a pocket passer.

THE SKINNY: Needs a lot of work to become a "passer" rather than "thrower"  but the underlying athletic fundamentals make him worth a look in camp.  Free Agent.
