SCOUTING REPORT-Patrick McCall/ Oregon St

Patrick McCall      Oregon St    5-9/195/4.42    5Sr

STATS & BIO: University of Michigan transfer that also saw time at cornerback.  Backed up Ken Simonton the past two seasons and finished with a disappointing senior year rushing for 54/203/3.8/1 and catching 6/31/5.2/1.  Posted career numbers as a junior when he ran for 129/658/5.1/7, also catching six passes.

THE GOOD:  Aggressive runner that's never shown any pattern of consistency in college.  Runs with forward lean, has a burst through the hole and quick getting to top speed.  Keeps his feet moving forwards, puts his shoulders into opponents when tackled and falls forward, gaining the extra yardage.

THE BAD: Patient and waits for his blocks to develop but overall not an instinctive runner, lacks the ability to cut it back against the grain or beat defenders to the corner.  Does not create when nothing is available nor does he make opponents miss.

THE SKINNY: Showed flashes as a junior as it looked like his career was starting to take shape but took a step backwards last season.  Free Agent.
