SCOUTING REPORT- Kenyon Coleman/ UCLA

SCOUTING REPORT

Kenyon Coleman       UCLA     6-4.5|284|4.80          5Sr

STATS & BIO: Two-year starter that saw action with the first unit as a true sophomore.  Second team All-Conference selection as a senior when he totaled 44/14/9.  Hurt his knee three games into the 2000 season and took a red shirt season.  All-Conference choice as a junior totaling 50/9/3 after 23/7/4.5 during the '98 campaign.

THE GOOD:  Tremendous athlete yet to become a total football player.  Displayed quickness off the snap previous to his knee injury, fluid changing direction and quick alerting his angle of attack.  Effective playing off the line of scrimmage showing great range and easily getting to the sidelines making plays against the ball carrier.  Solid arm over move and closing burst of speed.

THE BAD: For the most part does not keep his pads low or protect himself and an easy target for opponents to block.  Lacks football instincts, a head for the ball and to this point looks better then he plays.

THE SKINNY: Nice kid and good athlete but a mediocre football player.  Mid Sixth Round.
