'06 NFL Draft Watch: UNLV

With the retirement of John Robinson, former Utah offensive coordinator Mike Sanford now takes over the reigns in Vegas. The team has several underrated prospects on both sides of the ball.

Scouting the M-West:  UNLV

Originally highly rated entering the 2004 scouting process, tight end Greg Estandia had his campaign cut short last year after a knee injury. A well sized tight end effective as both a blocker or pass catcher, Greg Estandia has the ability to move into the middle rounds if he produces during his senior campaign.

Playing with great quickness and explosion, defensive lineman Leon Moore is sized-well and a good prospect up front. Getting a lot of momentum up the field, Moore runs over blockers and quickly changes direction, making plays out to the flanks. A high intensity prospect, he has potential as a two-gap lineman or at left defensive end. Safety Joe Miklos is a rangy defensive back with good playing speed. Fluid transitioning to make a play on the ball, Miklos constantly takes incorrect angles to the action and removes himself from the action.
