SCOUTING REPORT- Nick Greisen/Wisconsin

SCOUTING REPORT

Nick Greisen      Wisconsin    6-1|235|4.92    4Sr

STATS & BIO: Starting inside linebacker for the Badgers the past two seasons and an All-Conference selection as a senior after totaling 167/17/4/2/2, leading the league in tackles.  Again, atop the Big 10 charts in tackles as a junior when the numbers were 130/10/5/3/3.  Part-time player his first two years in the program.

THE GOOD:  Heady, tough defender lacking the great upside potential.  Intelligent and instinctive, snuffs out running plays, displaying force and quickness moving up the field to fill the gaps.  Anticipates the action as it unfolds, takes good angles to the play and wraps up tackling.

THE BAD: Limited athlete lacking speed, strength and the ability to defend the pass.  Does not get depth on his drops, slow pursuing to the action and easily knocked off balance by the initial block.

THE SKINNY:  Two down defender that makes plays with his heart and head but a limited athlete that may be as good as he's going to get.  Free Agent.
