SCOUTING REPORT

Bradley Jennings     Florida St    6-2.5|255|4.87     5Sr

STATS & BIO: All-Conference selection as a senior leading the team in tackles totaling 127/1/.5/1/7.  Registered 102 tackles as a junior after 92 his sophomore season when he broke into the starting line-up.  Tore cartilage in his right knee at the end of his senior season, which kept him on the sidelines late in the year.

THE GOOD:  Tough, run defending linebacker best in a small area.  Quick reading or anticipating the action, strong at the point of attack and a hard hitter that easily brings opponents down on initial contact.  Holds his ground against bigger offensive lineman, physical and really likes to mix it up.

THE BAD: Vastly improved his pass cover skills last season and was less apt to bite on play action pass or get caught out of position but still lacks range, limited to a small area and lacks a burst of speed moving in any direction.  Does not redirect well, ducks his head and misses tackles.  Not explosive or quick moving up the field to fill the gaps in run defense either.

THE SKINNY:  Two down defender that does not play well in space and by definition, slow.  Late Seventh Round.
