'06 NFL Draft Watch: Wyoming

After a solid campaign which included the program's first bowl appearance in some time, Wyoming hopes to take another step forward this year. The roster possesses several late round selections.

Scouting the M-West:  Wyoming

On offense Jovon Bouknight is a solid pass catcher who displays tremendous focus and concentration.  Making the acrobatic reception with defenders draped on him, Bouknight extends and makes the difficult catch in stride.  Very much the "go-to guy" of the Wyoming offense, he has potential as a third receiver at the next level.  Quarterback Corey Bramlet is a timing passer who displays excellent patience in the pocket.  Lacking a top arm, Bramlet is not adverse to throwing the ball into coverage and may only succeed as a backup for a west coast offense.  Tight end John Wadkowski is a solid pass catcher who consistently finds the open space in the defense.  Bending his knees and blocking with leverage, Wadkowski offers upside yet must pick up his play and production as a senior.  Lineman Chase Johnson is outstanding position blocker who plays with great intelligence.  Anchoring at the point of attack, he makes effective use of blocking angles yet is not light on his feet and lacks skill in space.
