'06 NFL Draft: Ranking the Running Backs

In what could be a bumper crop of running backs, as many as five ball carriers hold a first round grade, though not all will be selected during the initial 32 selections. The talent is deep as eight seniors alone are first day picks, a number which more then doubles if all the eligible underclassmen make the jump.

Reggie Bush is a top three choice then after that it is possible no other running back will be selected until the second half of round one.  DeAngelo Williams stock has slipped while LenDale White is on the rise.

Gerald Riggs Jr. could fall a long way.  Scouts love Joseph Addai, both his physical skills and as a person, but are not quite sure where he fits in at the next level.
