Senior Bowl Rosters

Though practices don't start for more than five weeks, invitations have already been sent out for the 2006 Senior Bowl. And already there have been plenty of top prospects who have accepted and are making plans to spend the week of January 22nd in Mobile, Alabama.

The following are positional lists of accepted invitations for the Senior Bowl.

Quaterbacks: Jay Cutler\Vanderbilt, Brodie Croyle\Alabama, Kellen Clemens\Oregon, Darrell Hackney\UAB, Charlie Whitehurst\Clemson, D.J. Shockley\Georgia

Matt Leinart of USC was invited but is not expected to accept.  It is unlikely Kellen Clemens will be able to attend due to his ankle injury and Charlie Whitehurst may also be on the sidelines with his pending surgery.  Michael Robinson is a likely invite to fill out the roster and will be used at QB\RB\WR.  Reggie McNeal of Texas A&M was invited as a wide receiver but declined.  Word is he will try and get into the East-West Game where Dennis Franchione is coaching and where McNeal can play quarterback.

Running Backs-Fullbacks: Leon Washington\Florida State, Jerious Norwood\Mississippi State, Joseph Addai\LSU, DeAngelo Williams\Memphis, Mike Bell\Arizona, Lawrence Vickers\Colorado

Though not on the official list, word is Cedric Humes of Virginia Tech will be invited as a fullback.  There is a chance Jerome Harrison of Washington State could make this list.  Another name bandied about for a while as an invitee has been Dontrell Moore of New Mexico.

Wide Out-Tight Ends: Hank Baskett\New Mexico, Derek Hagan\Arizona State, Skyler Green\LSU

Again, the official list does not have tight ends Marcedes Lewis of UCLA or Colorado's Joe Klopfenstein yet by all accounts they have been invited and both accepted.  The same holds true for Miami-Fl receiver Sinorice Moss.  Word is Dominique Byrd of USC has also been invited.

Offensive Line: Cody Douglas\Tennessee, Will Allen\Tennessee, Max Jean-Gilles\Georgia, Charles Spencer\Pittsburgh, D'Brickashaw Ferguson\Virginia, Jeremy Trueblood\Boston College, Albert Toeaina\Tennessee, Ryan Cook\New Mexico

Though he played tackle this year, and may do so in Mobile, Charles Spencer is listed at guard.  The Hurricane's Eric Winston has evidently also been invited as has USC's Taitusi Lutui.

Defensive Line: Kamerion Wimbley\Florida State, Mark Anderson\Alabama, Tamba Hali\Penn State, Brodrick Bunkley\Florida State, Babatunde Oshinowo\Stanford, Claude Wroten\LSU, Kyle Williams\LSU

Linebackers: Freddie Roach\Alabama, Thomas Howard\UTEP, A.J. Nicholson\Florida State, DeMeco Ryans\Alabama

Defensive Backs: Tim Jennings\Georgia, Will Blackmon\Boston College, Tye Hill\Clemson, Kelly Jennings\Miami-Fl, Alan Zemaitis\Penn State, DeMario Minter\Georgia, Anwar Phillips\Penn State, Anthony Smith\Syracuse, Dwayne Slay\Texas Tech, Greg Blue\Georgia, Pat Watkins\Florida State, Roman Harper\Alabama, Jahmile Addae\West Virginia

Daniel Bullocks of Nebraska has been invited.  Will Blackmon, who spent the entire '05 campaign at receiver, could drastically improve his stock with a good week back at his old position.

As has been the case every year since 2000, the TFY Draft Preview will be on hand for all the festivities in Mobile and will bring you extensive coverage of scoutings biggest week.
