Sources have told us Pittsburgh Panther junior wide out Greg Lee will enter the draft. A game breaking receiver as a sophomore, Lee struggled all last year trying to acclimate to the power offense installed by new coach Dave Wannstedt. As reported back in October, scouts in attendance at the Pitt\Rutgers game felt Lee was a "product of the system". Originally highly rated, Lee is making a mistake entering the draft and will fall a long way next April.
Sources have told us Trojan safety Darnell Bing is close to declaring for the draft. Along with teammate Lendale White, he will likely sign with a consulting firm which includes Snoop Dogg.
Premier Sports Management, headed by Gary Uberstine, whose clients include USC coach Pete Carroll, have reportedly have made New England Patriot defensive end Willie McGinest (a former Trojan himself) and Snoop Dogg part of their front office. This has given the firm an upper hand in signing many of the Trojan underclassmen.
Sources have told us Snoop Dogg, a huge USC fan, has apparently had an influence the juniors deciding to enter the draft.
Oklahoma Sooner linebacker Rufus Alexander could also be on his way to the next level. Alexander is exploring his options and talking with agents. A solid weak-side prospect, he projects as a first day pick next April.
Offensive tackle Willie Hall of Middle Tennessee State is also considering the draft. A nice sized blocker, Hall could land in the late rounds.
