Breaking Underclassmen News: Decision Made?

For more then a month we've kept watch over a pair of Badger juniors who were considering moving onto the NFL.  Joe Thomas had his decision made for him on January 2nd.  It now seems Brian Calhoun has made his.  Here's the story with late breaking news on another big name Big Ten junior considering the jump.

Jon Linder of Badger Nation has confirmed something we speculated last Wednesday, Badger running back Brian Calhoun is entering the draft.  After much back-and-forth Calhoun figures his draft stock will not go much higher even if he returns to Madison for the '06 season.

Virginia linebacker Kai Parham also confirmed what we reported a day later.  The Cavalier's leading tackler will also make the jump to the NFL.  Posting 103 tackles and 8 1/2 sacks last season Parham told reporters, "I definitely think I'm ready."

Finally, we received late word this evening that Michigan defensive end Lamarr Woodley is also on the verge of entering the draft.  In fact one source we spoke with tonight stated, "he's definitely going pro."  Woodley led the Wolverines this season with 14 tackles for loss and 7 sacks.
