Dallas Cowboys - Jeff Ireland: With needs at receiver the Cowboys had to be targeting seniors Chansi Stuckey of Clemson and Virginia Tech's David Clowney, who is a Parcell's type of player. The Hokie underclassmen wide outs including Josh Hyman, Josh Morgan and Eddie Royal would also interest the team as all are NFL-prospects. Safety Aaron Rouse of Tech is another player the Cowboys would target as early as round one, depending on where their selection falls in the frame.
Washington Redskins - Joel Patten: The Redskins have got to love Nathan Bennett of Clemson. He is the type of guard Joe Gibbs has had success with in the past and is a masher up front. Gaines Adams is also on their radar screen based on the team's need at defensive end and the fact they could have a very early draft pick.
New York Giants - Jerry Reese: With needs at linebacker the Giants have an interest in both Virginia Tech juniors, Xavier Adibi and Vincent Hall. The team would like to add consistent young talent at receiver so Hokie wide out David Clowney would also interest them.
Indianapolis Colts - Bill Polian: Polian was targeting several of the interior blockers offered by Clemson and the linebackers on the field for Virginia Tech. Center Dustin Fry and guard Nathan Bennett are both solid second day selections and developmental prospects who would be upgrades for the Colts line. With a need at linebacker they would love to have Vince Hall. Though not as highly rated Xavier Adibi would also be a good fit for Dungy's one gap defense.
Seattle Seahawks - Mike Yowarsky: With depth at running back a need the team would be interested in Clemson's Reggie Merriweather. A talented ball carrier playing behind one of the nation's best college running backs, Merriweather could be a late round steal.
Pittsburgh Steelers - Kevin Colbert: Aaron Rouse, an outstanding athlete with good football skills, would be a perfect compliment for Troy Polamalu in Pittsburgh's system. Running back Reggie Merriweather also fits as he is the big-bodied ball carrier the team likes. At defensive end Gaines Adams will be selected before the Steelers are on the board but undersized Noland Burchette of Virginia Teach is the competitive type of player the franchise would like.
New England - Nick Caserio: With needs in the defensive back seven the Patriots focused on the Virginia Tech prospects. Safety Aaron Rouse could be a great fit for their system and grades as a late first round pick, where the team will likely be selecting. Vince Hall would also be a nice addition at inside linebacker if the junior enters the draft.
Tennessee Titans - Mike Ackerly: The focus of the Titans concentration was Gaines Adams. With a huge need at defensive end Jeff Fisher would love to have a player of this caliber, assuming he remains in Tennessee after this season.
Arizona State - Stanford 10/21
Raiders: With needs on the defensive line the Raiders were concentrating on a pair of Arizona State prospects. End Kyle Caldwell and tackle Jordan Hill are late round, developmental prospects.
Jets: Arizona State right tackle Andrew Carnahan is the type of player the Jets need and would like to have; a powerful blocker with a passion for the game. Carnahan injured his knee in late September and was lost for the season. Still, he will get late round consideration and has starting potential once his skills are developed. Michael Okwo is having a solid year for Stanford and would be a good linebacker addition for the Jets 3-4 scheme.
