Quarterbacks STUDS Peyton Manning - Peyton was a machine on the road in Denver and New England the last two weeks...Buffalo shouldn't be problem at home. Michael Vick - He'll destroy Cleveland at home. Donovan McNabb - Fantasy QB MVP at mid-term. START Philip Rivers - Due for a nice game in Cincy. Marc Bulger - Passer rating of 102 through 8, but check the weather before starting Bulger in Seattle. Jake Delhomme - Watch Delhomme finally go off on MNF. Jake Plummer - Plummer is playing his best football of the year and gets Oakland this week...could put up STUD stats. Eli Manning - Tough start against the Bears, but too good to bench. Drew Brees - Brees has Saints at 6-2 and has quietly become a top five fantasy QB through the first half of '06. Tony Romo - Playing the 1-7 Cardinals...he'll play like a champion this week. Ben Roethlisberger - Call it a feeling, but I expect Big Ben to have a Big Game this week in desperation mode at home against N.O. Tom Brady - Pick Brady to rebound from his 0 TD / 4 INT performance on SNF last week...Brady will be big against the Jets. Brad Johnson - Playing another awful defense, but still barely a start with his rocky performances of late. Jon Kitna - Best fantasy QB start ever for a 2-6 team...Kitna could have killer stats this week against Niners in the dome. Seneca Wallace - Check the weather first and consider starting him against Rams lousy D if clear skies and you have no other option. Damon Huard - Doing better than expected...okay start against Fins. Carson Palmer - Marvin Lewis has let the Bengal thugs ruin the locker room chemistry...but Palmer is still too talented to bench. David Garrard - Garrard will toss 3 TDs this week against Texans. BENCH Vince Young - Practicing for the future. Brett Favre - Sorry Brett...but we're putting you on the pine. Byron Leftwich - He's benched...injured...and out of favor. David Carr - Struggling of late and Jax defense is solid. Joey Harrington - Okay last week, but not worth a roster position. Matt Leinart - He'll get it eventually, but wait until he proves himself before you start him...Fitzgerald's return will help. Rex Grossman - No way...his recent brainless performances may lead to Lovie stepping in and taking away his passing rights. Mark Brunell - Drop him unless you plan on playing in your league's Toilet Bowl. Matt Hasselbeck - Still out...maybe back in week 11. Alex Smith - Surely you have someone else you can play, but Smith could do something this week. Andrew Walter - Again, just why didn't the Raiders draft a QB in the first round? Bruce Gradkowski - Don't think Grad will do much against Panthers. Charlie Frye - Better with new offensive coordination, but not in Atlanta this week. Running Backs STUDS LaDainian Tomlinson - He's on pace to set a few NFL records and Cincy won't stop him this week. Brian Westbrook - Not exactly LaDainian, but still a stud with huge combo yards. Larry Johnson - 1100+ yards already and Fins will give him another 130 and a score or two. Kevin Jones - Paying off for his owners...BIG game against Niners. Warrick Dunn - Plays better at home and Cleveland won't stop him. Laurence Maroney - Jets will wish they drafted this rookie when he's done with them. START Joseph Addai - Big game for Addai vs. Bills in RCA Dome. Rudi Johnson - Chargers defense is tough to run upon, but we'd still start him. Thomas Jones - Bears hopefully have learned their lesson and will utilize Jones better this week. Willie Parker - Quietly the number 3 fantasy RB through 8 games. Anthony Thomas - TD production is horrible...gets a better shot with the Pack in town. Steven Jackson - STUD yardage, but only 4 TDs to date...huge game this week in Seattle if rain in forecast. Clinton Portis - Getting hot at the right time. Edgerrin James - Too talented to bench. Jamal Lewis - Should have STUD numbers this week against bad D, but somehow get myself to put him up in STUD zone. Maurice Jones-Drew - Big fantasy play against this D. Frank Gore - Under-rated and well worth playing in Detroit. Cadillac Williams - True test against Panthers on MNF...risky, but still worth a start if on your roster. DeShaun Foster - DeAngelo Williams will play, but not enough to threaten Foster's numbers too much on MNF. Maurice Morris - Great sleeper against Rams. Tatum Bell/Mike Bell - Kind of a mind-bend, but if you can figure who's getting the touches in this game, then he's worth starting. Ronnie Brown - Brown has secretly busted into the top ten of FFL RBs through the mid-point...surprising to many with Miami's record. Tiki Barber - Very risky start against the Bears D...I don't think you do it, but he has too many yards on the season to bench. Julius Jones - I like him at Arizona. BENCH Jets RBs - Way to big of a log-jam to play any of the Jet trio (of Cedric Houston, Kevan Barlow, or Leon Washington). DeAngelo Williams - He'll play, but not ready to steal many stats. Reuben Droughns - Nope, especially not in Atlanta. Travis Henry - Nothing against Ravens. Deuce McAllister - Don't count on Deuce this week against a run D that is still impressive. Willis McGahee - Out for a month. Ahman Green - Not against this run D. Shaun Alexander - Maybe in week 11. Wali Lundy - Ron Dayne is probably a better play for Houston, but I don't like either this week. LaMont Jordan - Nothing against Denver. Receivers STUDS Javon Walker - Plummer is grooving nearly everything to Walker and the Raiders won't bust the trend. Terrell Owens - Playing in Arizona this week...STUD. Steve Smith - Nice play this week on MNF. Roy Williams - ROY gets the Niners at home...HUGE game for ROY! Reggie Wayne - He's back home and in a groove with Peyton. Marvin Harrison - See Wayne...Colts at number 1 in passing offense. START Torry Holt - Bulger's go-to guy all...STUD if not a monsoon in Seattle on Sunday. Laveranues Coles - Coles is putting up solid numbers and loving what Indy was able to do to New England last week. Donte Stallworth - McNabb's favorite target returns, but still not at 100% with a hammy that may never be perfect. Andre Johnson - Andre's leading the league in receptions and yardage...he's the man regardless of the opponent or the score. Darrell Jackson - Move him to STUD if the weather cooperates. Plaxico Burress - Burress is a play-maker and too good to bench even with the Bears coming to town. Larry Fitzgerald - He's bbbaaaaaaccckkk! T.J. Houshmandzadeh - San Diego's defense is hurting. Chad Johnson - We're now half-way and Chad still isn't out of the gate...looking like the best talented WR bust so far. Anquan Boldin - Fitz' return should boost Boldin over the top. Lee Evans - Okay start in Indy (esp. if Colts go off early). Alge Crumpler - Vick's favorite target and leading all TE's with 6 TDs...Cleveland may boost his total to 8. Chris Chambers - Could Chambers finally be getting it going? Santana Moss - Probable, but Gibbs is threaten to bench him if not completely healthy this week...check status prior to starting. Keyshawn Johnson - Nice play against former team on MNF. Marques Colston - This dude is leading all fantasy WRs this season! Randy Moss - Tempted to put him on the BENCH against Denver, but just can't do it. Todd Heap - Should play and Tennessee should let him in the zone. Hines Ward - Ward will have a nice game this week in desperation. Donald Driver - Only option for Pack and not really a good one. Antonio Gates - Nice matchup for Gates against Bengals. BENCH Reggie Brown - Brown's numbers are likely to diminish with the return of Stallworth...and it starts this week. Drew Bennett - Not with Vince Young at QB. Amani Toomer - He's injured. Bernard Berrian - Rib injury has him benched. BYE WEEK 10 - None _________________________________________________________________ send your fantasy questions to: email@example.com
