During his interview with Sirius NFL Radio earlier this week, Kansas City wide receiver Samie Parker talked about the excitement and anticipation last weekend while he waited to see if the Broncos would lose, giving his team an opportunity to get into the playoffs. And he talked about the irony of the Chiefs making the playoffs this year after missing out with a 10-6 record last year.
"Who would expect us to be 9-7 this year and have all the dramatic stuff happen for us to get into the playoffs," he said.
"We've got to capitalize on the situation we've been put in like Pittsburgh did last year. They came in as a wild card and took care of business one step at a time and ended up making it to the Super Bowl."
Listen to the complete interview, compliments of Sirius NFL Radio, as he talks about this week's game against Indianapolis, the Chief's game plan, his reaction to the tragic death of Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams and much more.
