As Giants wide receiver Tim Carter prepared for his first NFL playoff appearance, he talked to "Afternoon Blitz" hosts Adam Schein and Solomon Wilcots this week on Sirius NFL Radio about this weekend's matchup between the Giants and the Eagles.
One of the many key points discussed during the 13-minute interview was the increased ability of the Giants to throw the ball downfield as a result of offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride getting the running game going again with featured running back Tiki Barber.
"Our offense is very talented, we have a lot of weapons. And having a running game is definitely going to help that," Carter said. "We're just going to have to go out and make good plays in the passing game and in the running game."
Listen to the complete interview, compliments of Sirius NFL Radio, as Carter talks about the impact that losing six of the last eight games has had on the Giants, the frame of mind of the team heading into this game, the Eagles secondary, the future of head coach Tom Coughlin and much more!
