Final Mock Draft
1) Oakland Raiders: JaMarcus Russell/QB/LSU
Analysis: Owner Al Davis wants a strong-armed passer and Russell is about as good as it gets in that area.
Other possibilities: If they passed on him, it would be to draft Calvin Johnson. If they do select Johnson, look for them to possibly select QB Trent Edwards in the second round.
2) Detroit Lions: Calvin Johnson/WR/Georgia Tech
Analysis: His addition would give OC Mike Martz the other starting receiver he's been looking for. That way they can move WR Mike Furrey back to a slot role.
Other possibilities: They could trade with the Buccaneers. If they do, the Lions could select Gaines Adams. In the second round, they could take their quarterback of the future, John Beck.
3) Cleveland Browns: Joe Thomas/OLT/Wisconsin
Analysis: Our friends at theobr.com know we've been saying for several weeks that Thomas was the highest player on their board after JaMarcus Russell and Calvin Johnson. The Browns haven't had a good offensive line since the Reagan administration. With Thomas in the fold, they could move Kevin Shaffer to RT.
Other possibilities: They would take Calvin Johnson over Thomas. Brady Quinn has an outside shot to be the selection here.
4) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Gaines Adams/DE/Clemson
Analysis: They badly need a pass rusher and Adams will be a starter for years to come.
Other possibilities: They want Calvin Johnson badly and still could trade up to get him. Amobi Okoye would be a possibility if they traded down.
5) Arizona Cardinals: Adrian Peterson/RB/Oklahoma
Analysis: They wanted Joe Thomas here so they will go for the best value on the board and that's Peterson who will give them a great one-two punch at RB.
Other possibilities: They also could trade down for Levi Brown who offensive line coach Russ Grimm is said to really like.
6) Washington Redskins: LaRon Landry/S/LSU
Analysis: He'll help their secondary which struggled last season and he'll achieve what former Redskin S Adam Archuleta couldn't.
Other possibilities: We expect them to deal this pick where they could select Jamaal Anderson a few selections down. A trade for Chicago Bear LB Lance Briggs is still a possibility for this selection.
7) Minnesota Vikings: Leon Hall/CB/Michigan
Analysis: They wanted Adrian Peterson or LaRon Landry here so they will for help in their secondary. Hall is the next highest player on their board.
Other possibilities: If Peterson and Landry are gone, they could trade down to take Hall, Jamaal Anderson, or Amobi Okoye. They showed interest late this week in USC WR Dwayne Jarrett but for their second round pick.
8) Atlanta Falcons (from Houston): Amobi Okoye/DT/Louisville
Analysis: He fills a big need and would play for his former college coach Bobby Petrino.

16) Green Bay: Robert Meachem/WR/Tennessee
Analysis: As noted earlier this week, Meachem is high on their draft board and the Packers are looking for depth at the position. He could take over in the starting lineup in a few years for veteran WR Donald Driver.
Other possibilities: Ted Ginn who would give them badly needed speed at receiver. Marshawn Lynch or Darrelle Revis if he falls.
17) Jacksonville Jaguars: Jarvis Moss/DE/Florida
