Arizona State tight end Zach Miller was clearly still pumped up a few hours after he was selected in the second round of the NFL Draft.
And he wasn't excited about simply being picked, he was definitely excited about becoming an Oakland Raider and having the opportunity to be in the same draft class as quarterback JaMarcus Russell.
"I'm looking forward to it a lot. He's such a great quarterback, did such great things at LSU, and he's going to do great things in the NFL," he said during a phone interview on Saturday.
Miller's very familiar with Oakland's great fan base and the energy they bring to home games when the men in black and silver take the field. And he can't wait to experience it.
