Okoye in the Fold

The AFC South cellar dwellars are trying to rebiuld their struggling defense starting with the interior of their front four.

The Houston Texans have reached a contract agreement with first-round pick DT Amobi Okoye late Thursday evening. His agents, Darin Morgan and Ian Greengross, were not available to confirm the deal but a league source said the the deal is for six years which could void to five if he meets certain incentives in the contract. Usually these are reachable incentives the source pointed out.
Okoye's deal, if the last year is voided, means that he could be an unrestricted free agent after the 2011 season, when he will be only 24 years old.
