NFL Week 3 Picks
Last Week: 8-8   Season: 21-11
The Ravens are particularly tough defensively at home, but the loss of Trevor Pryce (broken wrist) is a blow.  Cardinals are still trying to find their way on both sides of the ball.  Pick:  Ravens
After doing battle with two giants -- New England and Chicago -- the Chargers hope to rebound on the road versus the Packers. Pick: Chargers
Although 2-0 for the first time in franchise, look for the high-flying Houston Texans to come back to earth -- Peyton style! Pick: Colts
The Vikings hope to rebound against the hapless Chiefs after a hard-luck loss to the Lions.
Pick: Vikings
This game won't be as easy as it looks on paper, but the New England Patriots have proven to be the class of the league so far. Pick:  Patriots
Both teams are experiencing problems at the quarterback position. Home gig gives Jets the edge.  Pick: Jets
Eagles were out of sync offensively on Monday night and will be hard-pressed to match the high-powered Lions' offense.  Pick:  Lions
Battle of the undefeated will conclude with a Steelers victory on their home turf. Still waiting for that break-out game for 'Niners QB Alex Smith.
Pick:  Steelers
After two home losses the Rams hope to get on track on the road. Bucs QB Jeff Garcia is an old hand, but doesn't have enough bullets in his gun.  Pick:  Rams
Denver is not a good place to play for an offense that has a difficult time putting points on the board. Denver in a low-scoring affair. Pick: Denver
After 11 regular-season losses in a row, look for the Raiders' defense to shut down the surprisingly high-powered Browns offense. Pick: Raiders
Defensively, they couldn't play much worse last Sunday.  But an offense led by Carson Palmer will give anyone fits. Bengals in a high-scoring affair. Pick:  Bengals
Hot-and-cold Panthers just need to be lukewarm versus this struggling Falcons squad. Atlanta has a lot of holes on offense. Pick: Panthers
Giants can't stop anyone. Look for the Redskins to win their third straight versus another winless opponent on the season.  Pick: Redskins
Last weeks upset special -- projecting the Chargers over the Patriots Sunday night -- made me look silly. Bears are very tough defensively and at home, but offensive woes continue.  Pick: Cowboys
It's critical for the Saints to right this ship Monday night versus the Titans. Look for Saints to apply a lot of pressure from the outside on Vince Young.
Pick:  Saints
