Pre-Draft Team Needs: Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts are coming off of a season in which they lost in the second round of the playoffs. We're taking a look at what they need to accomplish in the draft in order to get back to the Super Bowl.

Players Added

Courtney Roby/WR - The street free agent and former Tennessee Titans third-round pick will compete for a backup job with the Colts after not playing last season.

Players Lost

Aaron Moorehead/WR - He still could be re-signed by the team after the draft.

Ben Utecht/TE - He'll handle a receiving role with the Cincinnati Bengals. Utecht's size will be missed in the red zone area and over the middle.

Jake Scott/G - He'll be the new starting right guard for the Tennessee Titans. Charlie Johnson and Dylan Gandy will vie for Scott's vacated right guard job with the Colts.

Anthony McFarland/DT - He didn't play last season due to a serious knee injury.

Dan Klecko/DT - He's actually slated to play fullback with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Rocky Boiman/LB - The versatile linebacker will back up at least two positions with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Rob Morris/LB - The veteran linebacker still could re-sign with the team by the starting of training camp.

Pre-Draft Team Needs

Defensive Tackle - They could use a true run stopping interior defensive lineman despite the run defense improvement last season. Depth is also an issue.

Wide Receiver - With Marvin Harrison having surgery on both of his knees, he may not be the same player he once was. Addressing his eventual replacement would be a smart move to make sooner rather than later.

Other Issues to Address

Tight End Depth

Offensive Line Depth

Defensive End Depth

Linebacker Depth
