|Bill Parcells has always been a guy who's been big on size, so it shouldn't have come as a major surprise that he made Long his first draft pick with the Dolphins. Long will immediately step in at left tackle and allow the Dolphins to move former first-round pick Vernon Carey back to right tackle, where he clearly is more comfortable. The Dolphins offensive line has been without an elite left tackle since Richmond Webb was in his prime in the mid-1990s and the addition of Long hopefully will begin the process of turning the offensive line from a mediocre unit into a strength before too long. - Alain Poupart, Dolphins Digest|
|While some personnel evaluators believe Long is best suited to play on the right side, he'll be lining up at left tackle for Miami. This team has put together some dreadful offensive lines for many years but they can start to rebuild it with Long.|
