|The Jaguars continued to bolster their pass rush as they traded up again in the second-round and picked Quentin Groves, defensive end from the University of Auburn. At 6'3", 259 lbs., Groves is probably better suited for a 3-4 type of scheme, but the explosive end was too great of a value for the Jaguars to pass on in the second-round, especially with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who selected 53rd overall, targeting him. - Charlie Bernstein, JagNation.com|
|You have to give Jacksonville a lot of credit here. Groves could have easily been selected in the first round and now they've gotten two solid end prospects out of this draft. The defensive end position was the one area where they needed to be aggressive in the draft and they did just that.|
