Brown is a dynamic rush end who plays with a high motor and has tremendous quickness. He has an elite first step and a few signature moves that allow him to get up field. He's incredibly strong, featuring a 480-pound bench press, and uses quickness and strength to his advantage. He uses his hands effectively, demonstrates good balance and coordination, and transitions well with the action.

|Adam Caplan's Flash Analysis||While he would have liked to have been selected in the first round, Brown found a great spot with the Panthers. This team has major depth problems at defensive end and he should be able to find a spot in their rotation right away. Brown has a quick first step and has plenty of upside. Scouts question if he's strong enough physically which is why he dropped out of the first round.|
