|Chris Steuber Ranking|| |
#46 out of 357 overall
#6 at OT
Beatty is a tremendously athletic tackle who has superior feet. He moves well laterally and gets to the second level instantly. He engages on the opposition quickly and does a good job of keeping defenders at arms length. He doesn't sustain blocks very long, but can hold his own. He displays good awareness and works well with his linemates. He's still developing as a player, but his upside is off the charts.

|Adam Caplan's Flash Analysis||This pick makes sense since some question whether David Diehl is a true left tackle. If Beatty proves he's ready to play within his first few years, Diehl could be moved inside.|
