I thought the Broncos draft showed some early promise, but fizzled on day number two. All five first day selections should contribute quickly; with the top three (Moreno, Ayers and Smith) likely to start. Keep a close eye on No Carolina junior tight end Richard Quinn, an athletic big man who can both block and catch. Quarterback Tom Brandstater is a big good looking individual with a strong arm, but he is at best a long term project in my opinion. He doesn't have a lot of quickness or movement in the pocket, was sporadic with his accuracy and made far to many questionable throwing decisions. He also wasn't particularly productive in a stat friendly offense. Kenny McKinley is a player to watch. I felt his hands were just adequate, but he showed speed and quickness out of a break. I felt Seth Olsen was a good technician, but I thought he was a limited athlete and not particularly strong. He can get you by but overall I thought he was at best a back up inside player.
