It’s been about a month since I posted my last mock draft, and even though we’re only in November the NFL Draft is already a focal point for many. There are currently 13 NFL teams under .500, as the NFL calendar flips to Week 10. And with close to 50-percent of the league out of playoff contention, the April spectacle is shining bright in the spotlight.
There are plenty of talented draft eligible players that teams will scout leading up to the draft, and even though there are seniors and underclassmen mentioned in my forecast, it’s nearly impossible to include everyone, because not every top-tier underclassman declares for the draft. With that said, there’s plenty of young talent projected in my first round mock draft; I project that 13 of the 32 picks in the opening frame will be occupied by underclassmen.
The draft order is based on the teams record heading into Week 10. However, there are teams that share the same record, and in case of that occurrence their placement in the first round was decided on strength of schedule for the 2009 season.The St. Louis Rams are on the clock…
