Strengths: Selvie is a lanky, but productive defender that's been a pass-rushing terror on the collegiate level. He’s athletic, plays with excellent pad level and adjusts off the initial block to make a play on the ball. He’s smart, immediately diagnoses the action and then shows excellent speed from the backside. He’s rangy and redirects well, displays good hand technique and makes a lot of athletic plays in the backfield.

Weaknesses: He doesn’t possess ideal size and gets thinner as the season progresses. He has to improve his upper-body strength and play with more leverage. He has trouble getting off blocks and isn’t a factor against the run. He’s a tweener and could move to OLB.

Steuber Says: A four-year starter at South Florida, Selvie emerged on the scene as a sophomore when he exploded for 31.5 tackles for a loss and 14.5 sacks. But since that time, he’s received more attention and his flaws were exposed. He has to get stronger, and it’s possible that he will move to linebacker at the next level. At his current size, he’s nothing more than a situational pass rusher. But he’s athletic and possesses the intelligence to succeed at linebacker.
