Strengths: Graham is a physically gifted defender who forces the action and makes an impact on the field. He breaks down well, plays off blocks and gets to the action. He’s tough to knock off his feet, relentless, effectively uses his hands and redirects well to the play. He quickly changes direction and displays the ability to alter his angle of attack. He pursues well laterally, is forceful up the field and covers a lot of ground. He’s disciplined, reads the action and stays with his assignments. He’s a very productive player.
Weaknesses: He’s a tweener who doesn’t have desired height or speed, and may strictly be a pass rusher at the next level. He will likely make the move from DE to OLB, and if that’s the case, he has to improve in space and become a dependable tackler.Steuber Says: Graham is an experienced defender who had an outstanding career at Michigan. He’s very similar to another former Wolverine, Pittsburgh Steelers LB LaMarr Woodley. Graham is relentless, and that helps him attack in the backfield, but he has to become more disciplined if he’s going to move to linebacker. He’s a perfect fit for a 3-4 team and is on the rise after his stellar showing at the Senior Bowl and Scouting Combine.
