Ed Thompson: Chris, give us some of your impressions from your first day.
Chris Brown: It's kind of what I expected. You know, there's a lot of talent here, but it gives you a chance to measure up your talent. Going in you have high expectations, but the talent level of the whole team is high, so you just have to be patient.
Thompson: Your school has a reputation for churning out some pretty good running backs. Talk about carrying on that tradition and the types of skills you're going to bring to the NFL.
Brown: I look forward to being the next Sooner running back at the next level. I press hard every day, I try to get better, and try to absorb as much as I can. It's very exciting for me right now and I look forward to the challenge.

Thompson: A lot of NFL fans don't follow college football players until you guys are preparing to get drafted. If you were going to describe what kind of running back you are to NFL fans, how would you describe yourself?
Brown: I would describe myself as a patient running back. I'm a smooth runner.
Thompson: Who are some of the NFL teams you've talked with so far?
Brown: The Rams, Carolina, Seattle, and Jacksonville--just to name a few. The experience has been great. I'm delighted to be here and to be a part of it all.
Thompson: Talk a little bit about what it's like working with NFL coaches.
Brown: Again, that one-on-one time is something you need to absorb as much as possible. The things they're teaching us now are the same things we're going to go through in three or four months once we make it to a team.
Thompson: What do you like the most about playing football?
Brown: I think the whole team structure. Just to see a team work together for one goal and get it accomplished. I hope we work together really well this week and hopefully get a victory for the North team.
Thompson: Any favorite memory from your senior year that you're always going to carry with you?
Brown: Probably the bowl victory. We played Stanford and I finally got a bowl win under my belt. It was the first one in my career, so that will stick with me.
