Arizona Cardinals

Monday: Re-signed the following restricted free agents: WR Steve Breaston, C Lyle Sendlein, and DT Gabe Watson. Re-signed LB Monty Beisel, re-signed CB Michael Adams.

Friday: Signed K Jay Feely.

Comments: Breaston, who takes over in the starting lineup for Anquan Boldin, Sendlein, and Watson all signed their one-year RFA tenders. Beisel re-signed for one season. Adams was an exclusive-rights free agent.

Feely is now the lone kicker on Arizona's 80-man roster.

Carolina Panthers

Chicago Bears

Monday: Re-signed the following exclusive-rights free agents: RB Kahlil Bell, DT Matt Toeaina, LB Tim Shaw.

Thursday: Released DE Alex Brown.

Comments: Brown was simply making too much in base salary to keep him on the roster. Still, he could receive plenty of interest elsewhere.

Cincinnati Bengals

Monday: Re-signed the following exclusive-rights free agents: QB Jordan Palmer, G Nate Livings, OT Dennis Roland, and S Kyries Hebert. Re-signed LB Abdul Hodge.

Wednesday: Re-signed DE Frostee Rucker.

Comments: Hodge and Rucker signed their one-year RFA tenders.

Cleveland Browns

Friday: Traded fourth and fifth-round picks in the 2010 draft along with LB Alex Hall to the Philadelphia Eagles for LB Chris Gocong and CB Sheldon Brown.

Comments: Gocong could thrive in Cleveland's 3-4 defensive scheme. He seemed somewhat lost in a 4-3 at SLB. Personnel evaluators see him as a two-down pass-rushing OLB.

Brown will start opposite CB Eric Wright and will provide the team will solid veteran leadership. Brown also could be moved to free safety down the line.

Dallas Cowboys

Friday: Released OT Flozell Adams, released S Ken Hamlin.

Comments: Adams had a $2.5 million roster bonus due in June and was set to make $5 million in base salary, so the team obviously felt that he wasn't worth it. Fourth-year OT Doug Free will replace him for the time being.

Hamlin, who was signed through 2013, carried a base salary of $5.596 million for 2010. Alan Ball becomes his temporary replacement.

Comments: Greene was an exclusive-rights free agent.

The team's decision to re-sign Hayward became more apparent once they decided to move back to a 4-3 defensive scheme.

Kansas City Chiefs

Monday: Re-signed exclusive-rights free agents OT Barry Richardson and CB Maurice Leggett.

Miami Dolphins

Minnesota Vikings

Tuesday: Signed DE Mike Montgomery.

Comments: He'll compete for a job as their fourth defensive end.

New York Giants

Wednesday: Re-signed G Kevin Boothe.

Thursday: Re-signed P Jeff Feagles, signed S Deon Grant, rescinded RFA tender offer to S C.C. Brown.

Grant is capable of backing up both safety spots. Brown is now free to sign with any team and the Giants won't be able to match the offer.

New York Jets

Oakland Raiders

Monday: Re-signed S Hiram Eugene.

Friday: Re-signed OT Langston Walker.

Comments: Eugene signed his one-year RFA tender.

Walker can back up at RT or LT.

Sunday: Traded QB Donovan McNabb to the Washington Redskins for a 2010 second-round pick and a 2011 third or fourth-round pick.

Comments: Kevin Kolb becomes the starting quarterback for the Eagles with McNabb gone. The 2011 pick is a fourth that could be a third depending how the Redskins and McNabb perform this season.

Gocong was demoted late last season and it was expected that he would get dealt. Brown wanted a new deal and wasn't going to get one from the Eagles. His replacement may not be currently on their roster.

Pittsburgh Steelers

San Diego Chargers

Monday: Signed CB Nate Vasher.

Friday: Re-signed RB Darren Sproles.

Comments: Sproles signed his one-year RFA tender worth $7.2831 million. The team may still try to sign him to an extension to reduce his base salary for 2010.

Vasher will compete for a nickel role with the Chargers.

San Francisco 49ers

Tuesday: Signed K Shane Andrus.

Friday: Re-signed LB Ahmad Brooks.

Comments: He'll compete for the kicking job against veteran Joe Nedney.

Brooks was a big surprise for the team last season and he's capable of playing inside or outside.

Seattle Seahawks

Monday: Signed WR Sean Morey.

Friday: Re-signed G Rob Sims.

Comments: Morey likely won't see any time at receiver, but his impact will come on special teams.

Sims signed his one-year RFA tender.

St. Louis Rams

Comments: Butler was an exclusive-rights free agent. Adeyanju signed his one-year RFA tender.

Monday: Bradley signed his one-year RFA tender. Crowell, a UFA, re-signed for one season.

Tuesday: Signed CB Tye Hill.

Comments: Hill, because Tennessee is light on depth at cornerback, could challenge for a starting job if he has a good preseason.

Washington Redskins

Monday: Signed CB Phillip Buchanon.

Sunday: Traded a 2010 second-round pick and 2011 third or fourth-round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles for QB Donovan McNabb.

Comments: Buchanon compete for a starting job against Carlos Rogers.
