Monday: Re-signed the following exclusive-rights free agents: RB Kahlil Bell, DT Matt Toeaina, LB Tim Shaw.

Comments: Gocong could thrive in Cleveland's 3-4 defensive scheme. He seemed somewhat lost in a 4-3 at SLB. Personnel evaluators see him as a two-down pass-rushing OLB.
Brown will start opposite CB Eric Wright and will provide the team will solid veteran leadership. Brown also could be moved to free safety down the line.
Friday: Released OT Flozell Adams, released S Ken Hamlin.
Comments: Adams had a $2.5 million roster bonus due in June and was set to make $5 million in base salary, so the team obviously felt that he wasn't worth it. Fourth-year OT Doug Free will replace him for the time being.
