Brandon Brooks Added to the Active Roster

Out since training camp opened, starting right guard Brandon Brooks has been added to the active roster.

The Houston Texans have activated offensive guard Brandon Brooks from the Active/Non-Football Injury List after he passed his physical. Brooks has been out since the start of training camp with an undisclosed injury.

Brooks started all 16 games in 2013, where he became one of the best interior offensive lineman in the NFL. The return of Brooks is a boost to an offensive line that has been decimated by injury throughout training camp.

When Brooks is completely healthy and ready to play expect him to start at right guard with Ben Jones and Xavier Su'a-Filo to compete for the left guard position for the season.
