The Texans Begin Their Cuts to 75

The Houston Texans start their roster moves to get to the league mandated 75.

The Houston Texans have started their cutdown process to get to the league mandated 75 by Tuesday at 3 p.m. The teams most notable move was moving offensive lineman David Quessenberry from the NFi list to the Reserve/non-football illness list. Quessenberry was diagnosed with Lymphoma during OTAs which became a unfortunate circumstance for the young offensive lineman.

The Texans have four more moves to get to 75 players on the roster.

The following players have been released:

David Hunter, NT

Austin Brown, DT

Lawrence Sidbury, OLB

Terrance Lloyd, OLB

Junior Mertile, CB

William Powell, RB
