Report: T.J. Yates Lost for the Year With ACL Injury

The Houston Texans will be back on the quarterback market after T.J. Yates was lost for the season against the Indianapolis Colts.

It was the third Houston Texans quarterback lost in Indianapolis since last season and T.J. Yates went down with a torn ACL injury on a scramble for 19 yards in the second quarter.

Yates was 6 of 10 for 68 yards and an interception, the Texans offense struggled to protect him and move the ball consistently against the Colts.

With Yates going down, Brandon Weeden came into the game to lead the Texans to their only touchdown and only win against the Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The injury to Yates will put the Texans in the market to sign another quarterback and with Brian Hoyer recovering from a concussion, a signing will happen sooner than later.
