The Houston Texans had to replace Charles James' roster spot after being place on the injured reserve and signed safety Corey Moore off the practice sqaud to the 53-man roster. Moore is a rookie out of Georgia and has been with the team since rookie-mini camp during the summer.
Moore turned a tryout into a contract with the Texans and went through OTAs and training camp with the team before being released to week one. The young safety was soon signed to the practice sqaud and has been with the Texans since the start of the season.
He will be expected to help out on special teams moving forward and could be active for his first game of the year this weekend.
