Texans Sign Robert Nelson to the Practice Squad

The Houston Texans have signed cornerback Robert Nelson to the practice squad.

With safety Corey Moore being signed of the Houston Texans practice squad, cornerback Robert Nelson was signed to fill the vacant spot. 

Nelson (5-9, 181 lbs.) played his college football at Arizona State where he earned 1st-team All Pac-12 honors his senior season. Nelson went undrafted and signed with the Cleveland Browns and he appeared in seven games in 2014. 

He was released late in 2015 and was signed to the Arizona Cardianls practice squad and spent time on the active roster for three games.
